Emily's trip to Wally World

 

Naturally Emily went to Wal-mart today. She does that a lot. She decided that she will treat herself to cute nightclothes! Hurray for pajamas and stuff. So she's wandering around the store lalalala (at this point her mom is buying socks, and also seems fascinated by Home department...) Then Emily decideeds that she wants SLIPPERS! (who doesn't want slippers in the middle of july?) Apparently a lot of people becuase the only slippers she could find were the cute ones with little piggys on them (which her mom insisted that she put them down and WALK AWAY) and the old gramma ones with velcro....she needed ASSISTANCE.

 

Emily runs into innocent Walmart worker

 

emily:"Necesito SLIPPERS!"

 

workerperson:"Oh they're right over there."

 

emily:"but there's only like 2 different kinds, this is walmart, I want choices!" (Emily didn't actually say that but she felt it!)

 

workerperson: "It's the middle of july what do you expect?"

 

Emily was astonished. Never had she been let down by the quantity and variety of Walmart's products. Oh the shock! To find the one convenient reliable dependable thing in her life be torn down by a simple need of slippers. sigh.
